Position Description:
Associate Information Officer (AIO) - Systems Design & Development: Senior and experienced leader responsible for managing applications supporting worker compensation insurance business.
The specific responsibilities include:
• Managing a group with 30+ team members located in NJ, Houston TX and Offshore India.
• Responsible for day to day operations to ensure application availability and support business users needs.
• Facilitates and work with the business to prioritize the application changes, evaluate user requirements and implement (design, develop, and test) technological solutions to support the objectives of the business unit.
• Ensure application adheres to all audit, compliance and security standards and processes
Position Requirements
Must have 10+ years experience in developing and maintaining applications
Must have experience in managing large team based at an offshore location
Must have full SDLC experience from requirements to release and post production support
Familiar with Pega/Java and client based technologies
Experience working with IT development team and business users
Experience supporting medium to large application in production support environment
Works well with vendors team members and performs duties in a professional manner.
Insurance background with worker compensation knowledge will be strongly preferred.
