AIG Global Energy provides Primary Casualty solutions to risks within the energy and chemical industries, falling within the corporate and national accounts segments. Products consist of Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability/Physical Damage & Workers' Compensation.
- Must successfully maintain and service assigned renewal portfolio and exceed new business production objectives.
- Aggressive marketing and cross-selling to achieve production goals and strategies.
- Maintain and develop broker relationships, identifying new business opportunities for this division, plus cross-sell opportunities for other AIG divisions.
- Analyze and underwrite accounts, adhering to division guidelines, utilizing appropriate systems for quoting, binding, policy issuance and sales & marketing functions.
- Travel throughout assigned territory as required.

- Minimum of 6-9 years of prior primary casualty underwriting experience
- Experience with both guaranteed cost and loss sensitive business is required
- Experience in the underwriting of energy / chemical risks is a plus but is not required.
- Effective sales presentation, communication and relationship management skills
- Effective time management, organizational, problem solving and computer skills
