Position Description:
Responsible for day to day management of a team of case managers and clerical staff providing utilization review, peer review, and medication management of clinical escalation alerts in preparation for medical director review.
Management functions include daily data capture, staff performance management, and other duties in support of the Manager of Medical Affairs.
Position Requirements
RN license required. CCM Preferred.
3 years of operational management experience and 2-3 years of prior case management in workers' compensation, disability management or related field preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Business preferred.
Excellent management, communication, analytical, financial and organization skills required.
Proficiency in the use of computers required, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
